It took long enough, didn't it? Sometimes life gets in the way of my other plans. But today I had a spare half an hour, so you get a half hour of music.

This is something I've planned for quite some time. I'm happy to present the first edition of the Chaile Podcast, an Internet radio show featuring underground and independent music from China.

On the first edition, music from my former home, Beijing:

It's been a few years since I've done any radio work, and I was pretty nervous doing this. I also need to invest in a better microphone; there's lots of noise. But still, I'm pretty happy with it as a start. Please let me know what you think.

I don't know what the schedule will be for further podcasts, but check back here for more. You can also drop this URL into iTunes or another podcast/rss reader, and let it check for you.

This is just one of the big changes I talked about two weeks ago. Hopefully I'll get a few spare minutes to finish up the second.
